Vice Brief

What problem is the brief setting?
To improve the current ident for an introduction for the Rule Britannia videos. Being on brand and engaging the audience to make them watch it.

What does the brief require?
A fifteen second ident opening with the vice logo and "A Vice original series" needs to have the text Rule britannia during the ident.

What is the brief trying to achieve?
A introduction to their short films, that provide an honest insight into who makes britain, from boy racers, to the military to wrestlers.

Who will benefit?
Those who watch the films as they will be projected at the start, possibility to give hints into the others films.

Who is the audience?
16- 35 year old engaged with vice, hipsters, those who over rate it.

What are you expected to communicate to them?
A moving image ident that convey realistic things that happens in the uk, that make people of aware of them and provoke those that don't approve.

How will that message/idea/concept be delivered?
Can be delivered through animation or video footage, we chose animation.

(this analysis was done in a partnership with David Wevill so we both know what the brief is expecting from us.)

For next week as well as having a signed contract we have agreed to think about the brief and have a few ideas and illustrations of the brief drawn up.
