Storyboard

After filming the reference footage, I dissected the dance routine into a very rough storyboard so that I had something to look at when re-filming it. For this project I didn't think a really well drawn story board was necessary, because I wasn't using that as reference, I'd made a plane in Maya and imported the video footage so I could just follow that. What was useful about this process is that I got to really think about the routine I'd committed to and think about any actions I might want to change. What I did change is how in the routine to begin with there was a lot of walking around and steps made, I decided when storyboarding to take these out, so Moom doesn't move around the screen too much and also so it doesn't look too overdone. I thought it might look overdone because he has a lot of arm movements and I think it was way too ambitious to have the stomping around too.
